Title: Why Back Testing???

I don't believe in back testing. I do back testing only to understand any EAs working.
I prefer forward testing only. How can we say that the market will follow the previous trend again?
So do back testing to understand the technique of EA only, after that go for live.

Hi Brown,
I agree with you totally. Back Testing should be done only to understand the working technique of EA. Profit Gaining by ea can never be decided by a back test. If technique and tools used by EA are satisfiable then it will surely give you profit.
