Title: How to manage unbooked loss?
Post by: jerry on December 19, 2009, 01:14:32 am
I'm trialling Aeron EA. Very often, it is opening and closing Buy/ Sell positions.  However, sometimes, there is a trade that loses and does not get stopped out.
For example after It has opened one buy position, the market shows opposite trend then it opened another buy position.

Am I doing something wrong?

Dear Jerry,

Aeron EA is based on Martingale technique. So when rate goes against the opened position, it will not stopped that in loss, it will open another position in same direction to average that. Finally all positions will be closed booking good profit.

Ok. Then another position is opened after how many pips difference?

How many positions can be opened by EA in one direction?

Dear Jerry,

In default settings another position is opened after, atleast 75 or 75+ pips. However you may set minimum number of pips between two positions in same direction in "PositionGap".

In default settings 10 positions can be opened in one direction during averaging. However you may change this by setting "MaxTrades".
