some suggestions for $6000 amount, tadafulfx [run EA with all default settings, it will open your first lots size will be of 0.05] alpari-uk [you may set first_lots_size=0.04 OR 0.06] forex.com [you may set first_lots_size=0.04 OR 0.06] Prime4x [you may set first_lots_size=0.04 OR 0.06] actually I want to invest $12000 more in forex market but in another a/c. So if I deposit $6000 in existing FXCM a/c, then only $6000 will be left. Can you suggest a broker to open an account with $6000. I want to use Aeron EA on this a/c too.

Dear Ferry, Firstly you have to download metatrader terminal from the broker's website, visit the following to install MT4, Installation of Meta Trader Terminal [MT4]http://aeroninfo.com/man-mt4.aspxNow after installation process, start the MT4 & goto file menu then click on "open an account" then select the leverage & initial virtual money, thats it. I want to trade forex. But don'e know - how to open a demo a/c. Help please.

Some reputed brokers who allows 0.01 lots are Prime4x, Forex.com, Alpari-UK It is just a suggestion. FxOpen and BeamFX both allow 0.1 lots with $1,000 account balance with 400 or 500:1 leverage. I will check other brokers to see about micro accounts with 0.01 lot size.

However as per my knowledge that there is no broker with which you can work with 0.10 lots on $1000 balance. You should go with 0.01 lots size, alse please read the above link, The broker I'm looking at using has the smallest size at 0.1 I am only planning to fund the account with $1,000. Will Aeron work for me okay or should I try and find a broker that offers smaller lot sizes?
If I do stay with 0.1 lot size minimum (which Aeron opens trade at 0.2) what settings should I use? Default settings or should I change them based on minimum lot size and account size?

Hello Wayne, With $1000 balance you should choose a broker who needs approx between $10 & $20 to open the minimum lots size {whether it is 0.01 or 0.10} because minimum margin should be in your account is calculated as: [margin required to open minimum allowed lots by your broker] X 75 So just check the amount, which broker needs to open 0.01 lots. Because it is quite different from broker to broker & as per account type [micro/mini/standard] For eg. Alpari-UK, forex.com etc. need approx $14 to open 0.01, while Prime4x needs $10 to open 0.01 At last simply I say that, you should choose broker who allowed micro lots 0.01 & money required to open 0.01 is approx $10 - $20 With a $1000 account balance would you open an account with a broker that offers micro lots (.01) or would the EA still work okay (and not wipe out the account) with a broker that only offers 0.1 lots as the smallest lot size?

Why not. Aeron's first recommendation is to test robot on Demo & after satisfaction use it on Real money account. Hi,
If I purchase Aeron Robot, then I wist to run it on a demo a/c before a real money one. So I want to know is that would be possible. I am new to forex.

lehn, It seems your account leverage is 100:1 but you typed 400:1 If you are getting 0.02 lots size on 100:1 leverage, then it remain same on any leverage like 400:1 or 500:1 Hey Friends,
I am new to Aeron. Recently I purchase it.
My account leverage 400:1 and EA is opening the lots 0.02, So I am curious to know if I change the leverage to 400:1 then will it open 0.08 lots size? I am asking this as broker will allow me 4 times to trade on same amount on 400:1.

Wayne margin requirement vary with different brokers. Minimum recommended margin for Aeron EA with a perticular broker is calculated as:[margin required to open the minimum allowed lots size by the broker on 100:1 leverage] X 75 for eg. if your broker needs $14 to open its minimum allowed lots size say 0.10 on 100:1 leverage, then margin should be $14 X 75 = $1050 Note: in the upper left portion of the chart indicates the minimum recommended amount for safe side, however it will work properly if there is less amount then this notification. It is just message, & doesn't effect the trading. Big amount requires in case when currency suddenly moves in one direction like 1000+ pips without retracement. I just installed on a demo account with $1,000 balance and all default settings with 500:1 leverage.
The message in the top left corner says Free Margin Should be at Least 10259 (recommended)
What should I do differently?

Hello Wayne,
Welcome to Aeron.
It doesn't matter that what leverage do you have for Aeron EA. It will open same lots sizes on 400:1 OR 100:1 leverage. Internally it consider only 100:1 leverage.
Suppose you have $4000 in your account with 400:1 leverage, hence Aeron EA assumes only $4000 / 4 = $1000 in your account while calculating the lots size.
Also lots size calculation varies with broker to broker & account type micro/mini/standard.

It works 24 hours a day, 5 days in week. No particular hours for Aeron EA. Works round a clock. Good luck Hi all,

You should select broker, who provides smaller spreads. Small spreads are always good in comparison to large. thanks Which broker should I select for opening a real forex account-- One who is providing large spraed or other who is providing small spread??

You can not change your account leverage at your end. You may contact your broker to change leverage, only broker can change it. Cheers. How can I change my leverage in a demo account. Initially I selected 1:500. But now I want to change it to 1:200. My account is with Alpari UK.

I have used Aeron ea on demo account and quite impressed with its bue sell decisions. I have opened a real account and started it with EA, but I found me unable to run my PC round the clock. How can I fix the problem. help please.

I just setted up the Alpari UK demo metatrader terminal. Under market watch window, there are only 12 currency pairs displaying. I was expecting 31 currency pairs as stated on their site. How can I see all of them in market watch window?
It is version 4.0, Build 225. My OS is windows xp.

Ohh, now I got your question. It is not possible to put 4 TP at once for a single ticket[order] in metatrader4 [MT4] termianl. It can done only with the help of any Expert Advisor. If you want manually, then, you can Partially close your ticket 4 times, each of 1 lots at different TPs. Thank you I mean that, if I bought 4 lots by placing a single order and order executes. Now if I want to set different take profit for each lot (i.e. 4 different T/P), how can I do that?

Dear Chan, If you have 4 buy lots. Then why you don't put 4 orders at different TP, each of 1 lots size. If I understand correctly your question, am I right? Hi there, I am using Aeron EA as well as doing manual trading too. Can you please tell me a way to place more than 1 profit target in the MT4 platform. For example, if I buy 4 lots, can I place 4 diferent targets for profits? The MT4 Orders window shows only 1 box to enter T/P target.

Hello Matt, Backtesting on 1-minute time frame is not accurate. You may see that, backtesting on 1-minute timeframe can't give more the 25% modelling quality. You should do backtesting only to understand it's working, do not come to conclude that, it is profitable or not with the help of backtesting. Default parameters are optimized for current days. thank you, Hello
Aeron has been going ok on a AlpariUK demo. When I backtested on a GoMarketsAus real account it blew the account. What are the best parameters to optimise for different brokers?
